National Park Service approval is confirmed for our October Mojave expedition. Confirmed project assignments include selective demolition work at Rock Springs Land & Cattle Co. Headquarters (Barnwell) and structural reinforcement of the historic Telegraph operators building at OX Ranch.
Advance team departs Thursday September 10 to scout and secure our group campsite along the Stanislaus River at Frazer Flats. The main convoy arrives Friday afternoon. Reminder: monthly meetup for September is moved to the campout!
Route scouting along the Highway 89 corridor between Truckee and Graeagle is scheduled for September 25–27. We will be mapping high-country bypasses, assessing seasonal trail conditions, and identifying future group dispersed campsites.
