October meetup: Sunday, Oct 18, 1–3 PM (moved from Oct 11); November: canceled; December meetup: Sunday, Dec 6, 1–3 PM (moved up from Dec 13). Normal second-Sunday cadence resumes Sunday, Jan 10, 2027. Location unchanged: Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park, Foothill Rd, Sunol, under the big oak at the end of the parking lot.

Quick update on the October Trail Guardian Project: Kent has published the Overland Bound rally point on the OB app. We will also have a convoy from the East Bay, with signup on our webpage. All the details are on the trip page — Armin will keep it posted as more comes in.
Join Mike Norton for a 3-day backcountry run through Tahoe National Forest (Bowman Lake, Sawmill Lake, and Milton Lake) exploring California BDR connector trails. Route and campsites are locked in — signups are open for 12 rigs. Meet 7:00 AM Friday, Sept 25 at McDonald's, Santa Rita Rd & I-580 E (Pleasanton).
National Park Service approval is confirmed for our October Mojave expedition. Confirmed project assignments include selective demolition work at Rock Springs Land & Cattle Co. Headquarters (Barnwell) and structural reinforcement of the historic Telegraph operators building at OX Ranch.
Advance team departs Thursday September 10 to scout and secure our group campsite along the Stanislaus River at Frazer Flats. The main convoy arrives Friday afternoon. Reminder: monthly meetup for September is moved to the campout!
Route scouting along the Highway 89 corridor between Truckee and Graeagle is scheduled for September 25–27. We will be mapping high-country bypasses, assessing seasonal trail conditions, and identifying future group dispersed campsites.
